Lowell is a singer/songwriter/producer and video artist.
Lowell’s first foray into the public eye was the collaborative mini-album "Apparatjik & lowell: if YOu_ _ caN, 5olve thi5 jumble?" Since then she and the Apparatjik collective (Grammy Award winning producer Martin Terefe, Magne F of A-ha, Guy Berryman of Coldplay and Jonas Bjerre of MEW) have been spun on
BBC Radio 1 & 6, Absolute Radio, Amazing Radio, Sirius XM The Verge (Peak #1), CBC Radio 3, The Zone/Victoria, The Peak/Vancouver, SONiC/Edmonton, X92/Calgary and Live 88.5/Ottawa
As well as a number of campus and college stations across Canada.
With Apparatjik, Lowell has played the 2012 Roskilde Festival where they headlined the first night on the Orange Stage (main stage) to approx. 60000 people, two consecutive nights as part of the opening of the Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art in Oslo, Norway and the Statens Museum For Kunst in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Outside of Apparatjik, Lowell has played a handful of solo showcases at the DogA Norwegian Centre for Design and Architecture in Oslo, Norway and in London, UK at the Sebright Arms, the Notting Hill Arts Club
A European tour this past February saw her perform at David Lynch's Club Silencio in Paris, Ancienne Belgique in Brussels, headline in Oslo, Norway and Copenhagen, Denmark and open for The Raveonettes in Barcelona, Bilbao and Madrid, Spain and Chad Valley in Berlin, Germany, Padova, Italy, and London, UK.
In North America, Lowell has performed at the Rockwood Music Hall in New York City, has opened for the Besnard Lakes at Toronto’s Lee’s Palace, for Austra at the Danforth Music Hall and at Toronto’s Church of the Holy Trinity as part of CBC Radio’s Nooner series at Canadian Music Fest (CMF)
Festival shows this past summer have included Sled Island and the Pukkelpop Festival in Hasselt, Belgium where she made the festival’s “Best Of” list alongside acts such as
Danny Brown, Fucked Up and BadBadNotGood.
