Bryce Jardine, a Toronto-based singer/songwriter, originally from London, Ontario, combines simple, beautiful melodies with dense lyrics full of imagery and story. Bryce has been pursuing his musical interests since childhood. He was lead singer and singer-songwriter with several bands during his high school years, and then set off on his own to concentrate on songwriting in 2010. He spent the winter of 2010-11 in Toronto, writing what would eventually become his first solo album, The Kids Are Gone. This album was recorded at Lincoln County Social Club, produced by Derek Downham (The Beauties/Six Shooter Records). The album features performances by: Serena Ryder, Derek Downham, Aaron Goldstein (City & Color), Michael O’Grady (The Mahones), Christina Zaza and Marisa Zaza. It was engineered by John Dinsmore (Kathleen Edwards, Sarah Harmer), mixed by Jameson Elliot, and mastered by Joao Carvalho. The album charted on Earshot multiple times and had airplay on CBC Radio One in major centres across Canada.
