A Night Of Music In Support Of Camp Oochigeas

A Night Of Music In Support Of Camp Oochigeas is a fundraising event leading up to the Sporting Life 10k. Cancer changes a child's life. So does camp. Camp Oochigeas is a camp for children living with cancer and its importance is vital. Some great talent from Toronto will be hitting the stage to play originals and covers in what will be a really fun evening for everyone! All proceeds will be donated to Camp Ooch.

    Performing will be:
A NORTHERN DRAWL - A snapshot of early 90's gritty rock and roll, weaving through My Morning Jacket, Neil Young, and the Allman Brothers...a band that rolls out spliffed-out rock like a vintage hot-rod revving up the engines.

PAINT - Combining UK-flavoured pop-jangle with an indie-rock swagger, this is an ode to hook-driven gems with splashes of exuberant energy, soaring melodies, and a star-crossed retro spirit."

GET OUT - Culture of Defeat‘s eight songs alternating between march-along pop jams and tremulous introspection, this schlub-rock chapbook achieves a limping, sleep-cycle rhythm. Sound poetry for the footsore flâneur.

MIKE SCARLETT - Accomplished guitarist and singer/songwriter in search of great melodies and solos.

ROCKAHOL - A cover band from Nashville, TN!
