Nevado Records is pleased to present a special double album release night celebrating Tim Moxam's Blue Son & Jordan Klassen's Repentance.
JORDAN KLASSEN is a songwriter from Vancouver who quietly released an EP entitled Kindness last year. After steady increases in accolades, radio play and live crowds, Jordan’s new full length Repentance will make a lot more noise. The albums songs fuse melody and poetry, stinging the imagination and summoning forgotten emotion.
TIM MOXAM's body of work reverberates between an endearingly joyful yet, at times, haunting portrayal of his inner self. This honesty and sincerity combined with an original and skilled take on folk and Americana guitar stylings gives the audience a veritable landscape to drift through as each song plunges one into a nuanced and poetic narrative matched act for act, verse for verse by a capable and engrossing musician.
Special guest, Toronto/New York-based songwriter EMILIE MOVER, recently joined the Nevado Records roster, and released her album Mighty Time on April 2nd. It showcases an eclectic side of the velvety-voiced Mover, with laid-back jazz, dreamy synth pop and quirkily catchy tunes filled with hand claps.
