Kansas City's Huerco S. produces deeply squashed and sensual House music. His No Jack EP is a crafty meeting of pitched New Jack Swing samples and the sort of "knackered house" vibes of Andy Stott or Duff Disco, set at a 105bpm swagger with heady filter treatments. 'Bypass' sticks with the sweltering, 'bout-to-collapse wooziness, reminding of ace NWAQ productions, while the impressionistic Chicago jack of 'Untitled' is condensed into a more potently emotive remix by one half of Sepalcure, Braille.
Anthony Naples is a New York City based producer born and raised in South Florida. Listening to a healthy diet of garage-y house, techno, and loads of noise, experimental, and left field esoterica, he found his way to Producing and DJing in 2011. He released his first EP entitled Mad Disrespect in May 2012, on the record label offshoot of the NYC party Mister Saturday Night, recently remixed Four Tet's 128 Harps into a "pagan and unwashed" house jammer, and has a bright future ahead of him.
Nacho Lovers is Andrew Ross and Scott Seewhale. Two producers, DJs and friends who bonded over a flat black plastic obsession. They make house music, or what can loosely be described as such. Really, it's the end result of countless hours spent devouring their shared record collections, learning all those 12" secrets inside and out: techno, hip hop, funk, disco, house and more. Yet however proudly the duo may flaunt their influences, their original music is far greater than a sum of inspirations.
