Hennessy Black Cocktail Competition Lands at Drakeland

Drake + Hennessy are presenting a summer cocktail competition! We've gathered Toronto's best bartenders + we want you to help us select the winners. Bonus? Just by voting you'll win a chance to claim the same prize they do: a $150 Drake Gift Card + the chance to sleep w/ Drake. Here's how it works:

On Tuesday, August 28th @8PM_FREE the finalists will be shaking, stirring + straining their prize-winning cocktail concoctions. We'll be providing you with 1 oz samples of their drinks to taste while you munch on free hors d'ouevres from Drake's kitchen. Our Host + Judges (including Dave Mitton, President of Canada's Professional Bartenders Association + Jordan Bushnell, Hennessy's Global Brand Ambassador) will select the first place cocktail whose creator will be off to visit the Hennessy Cognac House in France!

The public (that's you!) will determine the Runner-Up + both they, as well as one of the public judges (you!), will win a night's stay at Drake as well as a $150 Drake Gift Card. So what does this shake down to? Simple: join us to sample some cocktails + you could win!

While you're sipping drinks + nibbling snacks you'll be able to purchase bar wares + bitters from The Crafty Bartender's booth (so you can get shaking at home) and find out more about the C.P.B.A or register to join. After the winners have been announced, we'll be turning our Lounge into a party as DJ Mkutz takes over the DJ booth 'til late. See you there!
