For our 8th Birthday, we have produced a series of 88 prints with Toronto-based artist Jeremy Jansen. Jansen’s inky photo features the silhouettes of four figures walking down a country road, or maybe an open urban park. It’s haunting and mysterious, the kind of image that can illicit different responses depending on the viewer: some may find it permeating from its two dimensional surface, for others it may call to mind the walk to a peaceful night swim at the cottage.
Jeremy joins an incredible alumni with the Art For You series. Over the last few years, we have had the distinct pleasure of giving away works by Michael Snow, Guy Maddin (pictured), Hrafnhildur Arnardottir aka Shoplifter, Paul Butler, Penelope Umbrico and Christopher Anderson, among many others.
