Whether it reminds you of good old fashioned fun or epitomizes celebrating winter in the city; here's our round-up of some of our favourite ice-rinks all over the world!
For sheer winter romance; there's just something about the rink at London's Somerset House. The grand neoclassical house on the banks of the river Thames is now open to the public for summer movie and concerts series', tours and home to the beautiful Courtauld Gallery. And of course, the rink in it's centre courtyard is urban winter perfection.
If you ever travel to Russia, think about taking in the historic Red Square on ice! Skating in the shadows of the Kremlin and the imposing but beautiful St. Basil's Cathedral will not soon be forgotten.
A bit closer to home (just down the road in fact) is Trinity Bellwoods' rink. Due to open tomorrow, meet us on the ice before heading up to our Sky Yard's Shack Chaud for a spiked hot chocolate!
